Currently Enrolled in CVUSD:
If your student is currently enrolled in a CVUSD school, you DO NOT need to proceed with the online Pre-Enrollment process to go to the next grade level. Current students will complete Annual Updates in August.

Online Pre-Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year will open on January 27, 2025.
Online Pre-Enrollment for the current school year 2024-2025 is open.
TK and K will be offered at every school site for the 2024-2025 school year.
TK eligibility dates have been expanded for the 2024-2025 school year. If your child turns five:
- Before September 1, 2024 - Kindergarten eligible
- Between July 2, 2024 and September 1, 2024 - Kindergarten OR TK eligible (parent/guardian choice)
- Between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025 - TK eligible
Complete the Pre-Enrollment for your child for your neighborhood school. If you would like your child to attend a school that is not your neighborhood school, you must apply for School Choice. All on-time school choice applicants will receive an email indicating whether the student’s application is approved or if the student has been placed on a waiting list. If and when your school choice application is approved, your records will be transferred to your chosen school.
New to CVUSD:
- Online Pre-Enrollment is finalized once required documentation is uploaded. All supporting documents must be received by your school site before your student(s) may attend school.

- If you live outside district boundaries and have obtained an approved Interdistrict Transfer from your District of Residence and CVUSD, please continue online Pre-Enrollment.
- If you live outside district boundaries and have not yet obtained an approved Interdistrict Transfer from your District of Residence and CVUSD, please do not complete online pre-enrollment at this time. Rather, follow the linked instructions to obtain an Interdistrict Transfer.
- If you live within district boundaries please continue this process online.
- After completing all steps, including uploading all necessary documentation, click “Print the Pre-Enrollment Form”.
- You must click “Submit Completed Enrollment Form” to complete the Pre-Enrollment process.
- Save to your device and send Pre-Enrollment Form via email to your elementary office manager or secondary registrar. Here is the list of Office Managers.
- Once received electronically, the school will review your submission and will contact you if additional information is needed.
If you add to, edit, or upload documents to your student’s Pre-Enrollment after submitting, you must click “Submit” on the Final Steps page for your school site to receive the additions, changes and documents. If you do not click “Submit” again, your information will not be transmitted.
Please note the online pre-enrollment system is best accessed from a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. We do not recommend completing the process on a mobile device.
